This is the second book in the Flower Shop Mystery series by Annie Adams.
Quincy is working harder from the boost in sales after the word gets out on her solving The Vultures murder. She’s not sure why that’s helped her business, but she’s not complaining. K.C. and Fred are getting married; but before the wedding there is a kidnapping, a murder and a mystery involving chemical dumping in protected marshlands. Although she does her best to stay out of things, K.C. gets her right into the middle of it to help clear Fred’s name. Like the previous book, there is some action but mostly funny exploits that involve Quincy and her BA driver K.C. Alex is still hanging around trying to get Quincy to let down her walls, and even though she has some overreactions, he’s one patient man and waits for her to get her head on straight. Another quick and fun read that doesn’t disappoint. You don’t have to have read the first book, but it does help with characters and storyline.
