Infinite Sacrifice – Book Review

One comment

This is the first book in the Infinite series by L.E. Waters that I found for sale through BookBub. The main character Maya has to review her past lives in order to become completely aware and be reunited with her loved ones. Waters does a tremendous job of combing history with fiction, her characters are well developed with flaws that follow them throughout each life. There are lives that Maya has from ancient Egypt, Sparta, Vikings and England during the outbreak of the plague. Each past life is filled with history and details that create a vivid and rich new world with each version of Maya that is struggling to survive. Even though Maya is trying to stay in heaven and she has past lives, Waters doesn’t try to twist religions together to make her story. There is no religious bias, which was smart for her to do, as it doesn’t alienate any one religion or religious belief.

This was a great book to read and I look forward to reading the others.
